Healthy mocktail drinks are a collection of recipes aimed at helping people deal with particular health issues. They are not intended to substitute medication or be looked upon as recommended by a medical professional.
At the end of each recipe, I mentioned the claims of what drinks are claiming to do, and their benefits should be taken as such.
Having said all this, there is no doubt making your mocktail drinks, juices, or smoothies, by using all-natural ingredients far outweighs the downside of the majority of commercially produced sugar-laden, full of preservative beverages.
Juicing and the efforts of separating fruits and juices have been known to people for more than 2000 years. The first mention of which^ can be found in The Dead Sea Scrolls, an ancient Jewish and Hebrew religious manuscripts around mid-the first century BC. In one of the manuscripts, they are also writing about the issue of fruit’s uncleanliness, which to a certain extend is a valid concern even today.
Unless we are using organic products, they still have to be washed. Many fruits and vegetables have been under some form of chemical application, and before juicing, blending, or eating, they need to be thoroughly cleaned and washed.
I hope you enjoy the drinks, change and adjust according to your taste, and don’t forget even they’re nonalcoholic, the same rule applies, “Drink with moderation.”
