Martini Recipes Collection – II

Martini Recipes Collection – II  is a continuation of my previous Martini post. As it got a bit too long, I wanted to break it up and make it easier to navigate.

Absolut Banini

2 oz Vodka Mandarin
½ Crème de Bananes
Shake with ice in a cocktail shaker. Strain into a cocktail glass.


Apple Cosmopolitan

1 oz vodka
1 oz Apple Sour Puss
1 oz pineapple juice
Shake with lots of ice cubes in a cocktail shaker. Strain into a cocktail glass.
Decorate with a couple of lime wedges in the glass.


Apple Vanilla Martini

2 oz vanilla vodka
¾ oz Apple Sour Puss
Shake with ice and strain into a chilled cocktail glass.


A.S.A.P.

1 oz Crème de Cacao White
2 oz Mandarin vodka
Stir with ice and strain into a cocktail glass. Top with lightly whipped (or shaken) cream.
Decorate with grated chocolate.

Blue Mojito

1 oz. HPNOTIQ
2 oz. Light Rum
3 oz. Club Soda
6 fresh spearmint leaves
1 tsp custard sugar

Muddle sugar, mint, and a splash of soda. Add rum, Hpnotiq, and some ice.
Stir. Add some more ice, top with soda, and gently stir. Garnish with spearmint leaves.

Note: Classic Mojito


Brunch for Champions

1 oz Knob Creek Bourbon
½ oz Pear liqueur or Poire William eau de vie
½ oz Peach Schnapps
1 oz. orange juice
Shake with ice and strain into a chilled martini glass. Garnish with a slice of pear.


Caipiroska

A great Brazilian drink recipe

2 oz vodka
2 tsp granulated sugar or 15 ml syrup
1 lime, quartered in small wedges
Muddle half a lime cut into wedges with sugar or syrup. Mix well.
Add vodka and stir well. Top with crushed ice. Stir again.
Note: Vodka is a variation of the more well-known, rum-based Caipirinha.
If you make it with Gin, it is called Caipiríssima.


Chivas Mystique

1 ½ oz Chivas Regal Scotch Whisky
½ oz Tuaca
½ oz Chambord
Shake with ice and strain into a chilled glass.


Creme Brulee Martini

1 oz Vanilla vodka
½ oz Frangelico
½ oz Cointreau
Splash of Cream
Shake well with ice.
Strain into a chilled glass.
Garnish with cinnamon.
Optional – rim the glass with cinnamon sugar.


Deep Razzy

1 ½ oz Bacardi Razz
1 oz sweet & sour
½ oz triple sec
½ oz Chambord
Shake and strain all ingredients into a chilled martini glass.
Garnish with raspberries and a fresh sprig of mint.


Electric Smurf

1 oz Blue Curacao
1 oz Coconut Rum
1 oz Pineapple Juice
Fill with Sprite
Fill the lower half of the glass with ice cubes. Add rum and curacao.
Fill the glass half with pineapple juice and half with Sprite. Stir slightly and serve.
Note: Hurricane glass


Fallsview Sunrise

1 oz. Gray Goose vodka
½ oz X-Rated
½ oz Banana liqueur
2 oz Pineapple juice
¼ oz Chambord – Float

Shake with ice, except the Chambord, and strain into a chilled martini glass. Float the Chambord on the top; it should sink to the bottom, releasing flavour and colour. Garnish with 3 raspberries.


Forbidden Dreams

1 oz Vodka
½ oz. X-Rated
½ oz. Lychee liqueur
2 oz. Pineapple juice
Shake with ice and strain in a chilled martini glass.
Garnish with Wild Hibiscus flower with Lychee fruit in the middle.


Fresh Negrita

2 oz Negrita (dark rum)
1 oz triple sec
1 oz lemon juice
Shake with ice in a cocktail shaker and strain into a cocktail glass.
Note: add simple syrup if it is too sour.


Mango Melon Ball

1 ½ oz. Mango Vodka
¾ oz Midori Melon Liqueur
3 oz Pineapple Juice
Shake all ingredients with and strain over ice in a tall glass. Garnish with a pineapple slice.


Ocean View

1 oz vodka
¼ oz dry vermouth
¼ oz melon liqueur
½ oz blue curaçao
Stir with ice and strain into a cocktail glass. Decorate with gooseberries and a lemon twist.

Paradise Martini

1 oz gin
¾ oz apricot brandy
½ oz orange juice
Shake with ice in a cocktail shaker and strain into a martini glass.
Decorate with lemon balm.


R5 Jewel

1 oz. Smirnoff Strawberry
½ oz X-Rated
Top with Champagne
Place the Hibiscus flower on the bottom of the champagne glass.
Pour the vodka first, then Champagne and X Rated in that order.


R5 Chancellor

1 oz Jack Daniels
½ oz Southern Comfort
½ oz Apricot Liqueur
1 ½ oz. Orange juice
Dash of Peychaud’s bitters

Shake with ice. Strain into a rock glass filled with ice. Top with soda water. Garnish with a mint sprig.


Raspberry Truffle Martini

1 1/2 parts Raspberry Vodka
1 part White Creme de Cacao
3/4 part Cream
1/2 part Chambord Liqueur
Mix in a shaker half filled with ice. Pour into a coco-rimmed martini glass.
Garnish with raspberries or a maraschino cherry.


The Rain Fall

2 parts Rain Vodka
1 part raspberry liqueur
½ oz lemon juice
½ oz simple syrup
2 Splashes of cranberry juice
Shake ingredients with ice. Strain into a chilled martini glass.


Velvet Rope

1/2 shot tequila
1/2 shot raspberry liqueur
1/2 shot of grapefruit juice
Shake with plenty of ice in a cocktail shaker—strain into a cocktail glass.
Garnish with raspberries.


X Rated Cotton Candy Martini

1 oz vodka
½ oz Banana liqueur
½ oz Malibu Mango
2 oz. Pineapple juice
2 oz Cranberry juice
X Rated Cotton Candy*

Shake with ice everything except the X-rated. Place one X-rated cotton candy into a chilled martini glass and pour over the rest of the already-mixed ingredients. Garnish with a Hibiscus flower with a blue cherry in the middle.
*How to X-Rated Cotton Candy


White Lady

1 oz gin
½ oz Cointreau
1 oz lemon juice
1 tsp egg white – optional
Dry shake everything, add ice and shake again.
Strain into a chilled glass.

Note: As the legend goes, the white lady is haunting cocktail bars with slow service.
