Lemonade Recipes and Drinks for Kids

Nonalcoholic drinks are equally important as alcohol-based ones, especially when preparing drinks for children. They also want to enjoy well-made and deliciously tasting beverages, and one also can use the mocktails as a “Trojan horse”; throw in some veggies, and prey they will not notice the “strange” taste of the carrots.

Can the grown-ups try one of those? Pending the little ones’ permission, this post is about drinks for kids, and they truly deserve to have their cocktails.

LEMONADE

Aromatic Lemonade

For 2 ppl
2 cups water
2 oz orange juice
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon peel or powder
2 cloves
grated rind of half a lemon
1 tablespoon honey
Put the spices and lemon peel in the water and simmer on low heat for 2 minutes. Dissolve honey into the orange juice. Add the filtered and cooled water. Stir and serve immediately.


Berry Lemonade

2 lemons
4 cups of water
sugar
Strawberry juice

Cut the lemons into circles and boil with water and sugar for 10 minutes. After cooling, the liquid is filtered, and 2 parts are mixed with 1 part of strawberry juice. The lemonade is served chilled.


Blackcurrant Lemonade

1 1/2 oz blackcurrant juice
1 oz blackcurrant syrup,
1 tablespoon honey
1cup water

Slightly heat two tablespoons of water and dissolve the honey. Add blackcurrant syrup, juice, and water. Refrigerate and serve with a straw.


Lemon Julep

1 L cold lemonade,
8 oz fresh lemon juice,
mint leaves
pineapple
Put the mint leaves in the glasses, add a splash of fresh lemon juice, and press gently to release the mint flavour. Add crushed ice and top with lemonade. Stir gently and add more ice. Garnish with mint sprig and sprinkle some powdered sugar over the mint.


Orange Soda

1 cup orange juice
2 tablespoons honey
2 teaspoons sugar
1/2 oz lemon juice
carbonated water
Mix the orange juice well with the honey and sugar, add the lemon juice, and dilute it to taste with sparkling water. Serve chilled.

Pink Lemonade

For 10 ppl
1 oz rose water
4 cups water
1 teaspoon honey
4 oz lemon juice
5 cups orange juice
2 cups sugar
Pour boiling water over the sugar and simmer for 5 minutes. Remove from heat and cool. Add honey, juices, and rose water. Stir and add ice cubes. Garnish with rose petals.


Raspberry Coke

For 4 ppl
1 cup raspberry syrup
1 cup cherry syrup
1 tablespoon lemon juice
2 bottles of Pepsi or Coca-Cola
Mix the syrups with the lemon juice and stir. Pour the mixture into the cups. Top up with Coke. Cool, add ice, and serve with a straw.


Rosehip lemonade

For 2 ppl
1 tablespoon dry crushed rose hips
2 1/2 oz orange juice
3 tablespoons rosehip syrup
2 tablespoons honey
2 cups hot water
Pour boiling water over the rose hips and leave for 10 minutes. Mix the juice, syrup, and honey and add the strained infusion. Serve immediately.


Hot Lemonade

1 oz lemon juice
1 tablespoon honey
1 vanilla pod
7 oz water

Boil the water with the vanilla and leave to cool to 60 degrees. Put the honey in a warm glass and pour the infusion over it.
Add lemon juice and stir.


Drinks for Kids

Apple Cocktail

1 cup apple juice
1 oz blackcurrant syrup
2 scoops of ice cream
Blend the ingredients, pour into a highball glass, and serve with a straw.


Apples and Grapes

1/2 cup grape juice
1/2 cup apple juice
1/2 oz raspberry syrup
few grapes
Mix the juices and syrup well and pour into a highball glass. Add the grapes and an ice cube. Serve with a straw and a long-handled spoon.


Blackcurrant and Strawberry

1 oz blackcurrant syrup
1 oz strawberry syrup
1 oz lemon juice
1 slice lemon
sparkling water
Mix the juice and syrups well. Place an ice cube and a slice of lemon in a tall glass. Pour the mixture into the glass and top with sparkling water.


CAA Cocktail

1 oz carrot juice
2 oz apple juice
2 oz apricot juice
1/4 oz lemon juice
1 teaspoon sugar
soda water
Mix the juices with a sweetener and pour over ice into a tall glass. Top with carbonated water.


Fairy Tale

1 oz raspberry syrup
2 oz apricot juice
2 oz grape juice,
crushed ice
Half-fill a glass with ice, pour the syrup on top, and then the juices. Stir and serve with a straw.


Golden Heart

1/2 cup cherry juice
2 oz peach juice
1 oz lemon juice- increase if it is too sweet
Mix juices with ice, strain, and pour into tall ice-filled glasses.

Fruit Cocktail

1 cup orange juice
1 cup peach compote juice
1 oz lemon juice
1 slice orange
1 slice peach,
1 slice apple
Blend the juices and pour them into a tall glass. Place the fruits into the glass before that. Add ice and serve it with a straw.


Orange Ice Cream Cocktail

For 2 ppl
1 cup fresh milk
1 egg yolk – optional
3 scoops of ice cream
1 1/2 oz orange syrup
Blend all the ingredients very well. The cocktail is served in tall glasses with a straw.
Note: Egg is optional


Pinocchio Cocktail

5 oz of apricot nectar
1 teaspoon of honey
1/2 oz of raspberry syrup
1/2 oz of lemon juice
carbonated water
Mix the ingredients, pour into a tall glass, and add ice. Top with carbonated water. Stir and serve with a straw.


Raspberry Yogurt

Strawberry Shake

1/2 oz raspberry juice – syrup
1/2 cup yogurt
1 tablespoon sugar
Blend the yogurt well with the raspberry juice and sweeten it to taste.
Cool and serve.


Raspberry Orange Ice Cream Shake

1/3 cup orange juice
1/3 cup raspberry syrup
2 scoops of ice cream
whipped cream
2 tablespoons sugar
Blend the juice and syrup, add the ice cream and the sugar and blend again.
Pour into glasses and garnish with whipped cream.


Strawberry and Raspberry Soda

1/2 oz strawberry syrup
1/2 oz raspberry syrup
a few strawberries
1/4 cup carbonated water
crushed ice
Mix the syrups, pour into a glass half-filled with crushed ice, and add sparkling water. Stir, garnish with strawberries, and serve.


Strawberry Smurf

Milkshake

1 1/2 oz strawberry syrup
1/2 cup mineral
2 scoops of ice cream
Ice – optional for frozen drink
1 strawberry
Blend syrup, water, ice, and ice cream. Pour into a chilled glass. Garnish with a strawberry.
Note: Instead of strawberry syrup, use blueberry syrup or jam.


Tantrum Punch

For 5 ppl
1/2 cup strawberries
1/2 cup banana
1/2 cup orange
1/2 cup tangerines
1 apricot
1 cup of lemon juice
2 cups of fruit nectar
2 tbsp sugar
carbonated water
Slice the fruits and place them in a large bowl, sprinkle some sugar on top, and refrigerate for an hour. Before serving, add the nectar, stir, put some ice into a bowl, and top with sparkling water. Serve with a straw and spoon.
If served individually, pour the mixture into ice-filled glasses and top with carbonated water.


Veggie Cocktail

3 oz carrot juice
3 oz tomato juice
salt
parsley
Mix the ingredients and chill. Serve in cups decorated with a sprig of parsley.
