Ginzu

Ginzu cocktail is an apéritif —a stimulating drink before dinner. It combines gin, Italian bitters—Aperol and Averna—and Yuzu juice.

Ingredients

  • 1 ½ oz Hendrick’s gin
  • ¾ oz Aperol
  • ½ oz Averna
  • ¾ oz Yuzu juice

Instructions

Shake it and strain it into a cocktail glass.

Garnish with Yuzu peel; if you can't find Yuzu fruit, use Kumquat peel, squeeze it on top of the drink and drop it in.
